This September 18 to 22, the episcopal conference of Venezuela will be celebrating its «National Week of Catechesis 2022». The event will take place in Caracas in Venezuela where the department of Catechesis of the Episcopal Conference has prepared an aid entitled «Catechist with a synodal heart» that delves into the theme of the week. The aid was prepared so that this week is an opportunity to «reflect, pray and celebrate how the heart of the catechist should be, a synodal heart ready for listening, dialogue, discernment and integration». The biblical quote of reference is Phil 2, 2b: «have the same love, the same spirit, a single sentiment».nt and integration».
On Sunday, September 18, a message to the catechists is planned by the Department of Catechesis of the Episcopal Conference, while on the last day, Sunday, September 25, Mass will be celebrated for the Day of the Catechist and the missionary sending of the catechists. To learn more, visit link.

Also, last 18-21 of August, the Commission for Catechesis and the Bible of the Archdiocese of Sta. Cruz in Bolivia celebrated a week-long celebration for catechists. With the motto: «Forming in the faith at the service of God», the Commission for Catechesis opened the said event for priests, animators of the Catechesis of Christian Initiation, catechists, together with the Coordinators, Councilors and Directors of Catechesis, to participate in the «Month of the Catechist, walking together in Communion, Participation and Mission». Among the program was a training triduum that was organized and will take place in the parish of Nuestra Sra.
