The Basilica of Santa Maria in Montesanto, the “Church of Artists” in Piazza del Popolo, will host the meeting “The Church listening to the city. Journalists and communicators on the synodal path”, next Thursday, May 19 at 18.30. The event is organized by the Office of Social Communication of the Vicariate of Rome – in collaboration with the Pauline Association of Communication and Culture within the framework of the Week of Communication and with the sponsorship of the Order of Journalists of Lazio – in preparation for the 56th World Day of Social Communications, to be celebrated on 29 May, whose theme, chosen by POPE FRANCIS, is “Listening with the ear of the heart”. During the evening, the Pauline Prize for Communication and Culture 2022 will be awarded in memory of DAVID SASSOLI, journalist and politician, former president of the European Parliament. The meeting will be attended by the Cardinal Vicar of Rome, His Eminence Angelo De Donatis.
