Bible Scholar in the Pauline Family: Sr. Elena Bosetti,sgbp

Sr Elena Bosetti, a sister of Jesus the Good Shepherd is a leading biblical scholar of the Pauline Family. To learn more about Sr Elena and her various initiatives go visit this  page. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a licentiate in theology at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana. After spending several periods of research in Jerusalem at the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum  and at the École Biblique, she obtained her doctorate in theology at the Gregoriana, where she taught theology and exegesis of the New Testament. She is an ordinary member of the ABI (Italian Biblical Association) and of the CTI (Italian Theological Coordination); she was a member of the Academic Committee of Farfa Centre (for Lutheran-Catholic dialogue). For several years she commented on the Sunday Gospel in the television program “A sua immagine – Le ragioni della speranza“(In His Image: Reasons for Hope) at Rai 1. She helped to qualify theologically the sisters of his Congregation by starting the CTP (Course of Pastoral Theology) affiliated to the Pontificio Ateneo Antoniano (Rome). She leads the section “Biblical Paths” on Radio Maria (every fourth Saturday of the month, from 21.00 to 22.30). She also dedicates her time to biblical formation, the ministry of the Word, the guidance of retreats and spiritual exercises both in Italy and abroad.
