Everyone knows that Jesus spoke in parables. No other New Testament figure has ventured in this way of saying and doing. Jesus has the exclusivity of these short stories whose success has never been denied. These parables could be found divided between the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke. Some are common to them, others are their exclusive to a single gospel. These parables bear the colors of the gospel that hosts them: they serve the narrative and comply with the demands of their authors. Matthew recounts more than twenty of them. Each of them tells God in the poetry of his language and offers his word in images. To taste their particular flavor and appreciate the singularity of their intrigues, we are invited to listen to them with the help of the great French-speaking Bible scholars: Céline Rohmer, Camille Focant, Odile Flichy, Régis Burnet, Elena Di Pede, Daniel Marguerat, Patrick Royannais.
