Loreto: Spiritual Exercises on the Bible and Discernment

“The Church today needs to grow in her capacity for spiritual discernment” (Pope Francis). Spiritual discernment, as the art of understanding oneself with God from life and in life, calls for a sapiential and experiential approach. For this reason, the Aletti Center in Loreto (AN) organizes a course on the said theme from 2 to 5 January 2023. It is addressed to those who have already participated in the Ignatian spiritual exercises or intend to participate in them and is in continuity with the Wednesday catechesis of Pope Francis. In an ecclesial climate attentive to encourage meetings and relationships, during the days are proposed primarily biblical, theological, ecclesiological, anthropological and languages that open up an overall vision within which it is possible to live discernment in the Holy Spirit, not as mere technique, but as a lifestyle and integral reality of faith and ecclesial mission.
