The 29th Diocesan Bible Week takes place in Torreglia (Padua) from August 24 to 27, with a particular focus into the face of the Churches of the origins. The Diocesan Bible Week, conducted by qualified biblical scholars, is aimed at all those who wish to deepen their knowledge of Sacred Scripture: parish biblical animators, youth and adult catechists, religion teachers, pastoral workers. The goal is to offer essays on reading and also to give the opportunity to practice together in deepening the biblical text, so as to learn a method and know the tools that enable fruitful personal or communal reading. The biblical text is deepened both through reports by biblical scholars and through group work, organized in three types: Exegetical: for those who wish to learn how to read and interpret the text; Spiritual: for those who wish to learn how to pray with the text; Catechetical/Didactic: for religion teachers, adult chaperones and children’s catechists. It can be followed either in-person or online.
