Radio San Pablo: The Word of the Lord at the Hands of the Humble

A new audio-visual project of the Grupo San Pablo: a pódcast of San Pablo Radio. The podcast is presented by the Paulines and they will talk to various people about topics that are very important for our mission: reading, books, culture, family, religion, the Bible, theology, etc. The first episode is presented by Cl. Carlos Aguirre and Bro. Pepe Pedregosa with the invited speaker Marcelo Lavayen Juan, author of La Biblia Latinoamérica. La Palabra en manos de los humildes [La Biblia Latinoamérica: The Word in the hands of the humble]. This podcast, whose episodes will be uploaded once a month, will join our list of audiovisual programs such as Este es tu libro (books of St. Paul) and Descubriendo a…. (St. Paul authors) that are also available on our YouTube channel. Also, last Saturday September 23 the Centro Biblico San Pablo organized a Bible Day, “Reading the Bible Today,” in Aula San Pablo as part of the celebration of September as Bible Month. The day’s program is divided into two parts: first is a talk given by the Coordinator of the Centro Biblico, Brother Pepe Pedregosa on biblical theology, and then Marcelo Lavayen Juan presented his book, La Biblia Latinoamérica. The Word in the hands of the humble. Fr. Abramo Parmeggiani, Director of the International Catholic Biblical Society (SOBICAIN) and Bro. Bernardo Favaretto, a Pauline of the Region of Venezuela, also shared their personal experiences as to the story of the Latin American Bible. The entire day was also transmitted on YouTube.
