April 18-20: At the origins of the Church of Rome

Interest in the early Churches is always very much alive. The international conferences to be held April 18-20, 2024 in Rome at the Pontifical Biblical Institute will be devoted to this particular theme. The focus will be on the development of Christian communities in Rome with special attention to the New Testament, the patristics, and the archaeological sources. Internationally renowned scholars, from Juan Manuel Granados to Armand Puig i Tarrech, from Emanuela Prinzivalli to Pieter Gemeinhart, from Martin Wallraf to Charlotte Kirsch-Klingelhöffer, will speak at this important event, in an open dialogue that promises to be full of insights and surprises.
