As has been the case every year since 2012, comes January 22-26, 2024, the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome offers all teachers of Sacred Scripture a valuable opportunity to update their research. The theme addressed this year is the New Testament in the Greco-Roman context. This is in keeping with the sensitivity of an exegesis that is increasingly attentive to the contextual reading of the texts, which are written in precise settings and frames that illuminate their meaning, the images used, the relationships, and the dialogues. The academic coordination of the initiative is entrusted to Professors Paolo Costa and Antonio Pitta. We attach the detailed program, reminding that the initiative can be attended both in presence and at a distance (in online mode).
