Reading the Signs of the Times: From the Wisdom of Qohelet to the Wisdom of Jesus

The Biblical Week of the Diocese of  Rimini reaches its 24th edition which will be held this September 26 to 29. This year’s theme is entitled “Reading the signs of the times: From the Wisdom of Qohelet to the Wisdom of Jesus”. The said topic intends to propose the rediscovery of an ancient book, the Qohelet, little known to Christians but which contains very topical questions about the meaning of life and death, love and pain, wealth and pleasure; Thus, from the interesting points of contact between the wisdom of Qohelet and that of Jesus, this offer some criteria to read and face the questions of our time with evangelical wisdom. The task of the speakers is to help open the extraordinary casket of human and divine wisdom contained in the 12 chapters of Qohelet: to understand that the silence of God in our life is not necessarily a curse but an opportunity to meet Him in surprising ways.
