This year, the Diocese of Caserta organizes the National Biblical Week to be held in Caserta from 3 to 7 July. The theme will be the Letter to the Galatians, deepened thanks to the contributions of the biblical scholars Giuseppe De Virgilio and Francesco Bianchini. The week will place before us the synodal journey of the early Church, open to listening to the Word of God to discern according to the Spirit of the Gospel, the path to follow. It will be inaugurated by Bishop Mons. Pietro Lagnese bringing together, as always, scholars and Bible enthusiasts who are confronted with various territorial experiences within the project “Bible and European culture” to confirm the words of Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini: “The future of Europe is based on reading the Bible as the code of the Christian roots of the West”.
