El Greco: The Painter Who Gave Voice to the Bible

An artist who became a timeless classic. A painter who was able to influence the greats of twentieth-century art. A man around whose life gravitated myths and legends, in a word: El Greco. With more than 50 masterpieces, Palazzo Reale is hosting an exhibition event more than 20 years after his last presence in Italy. A project with an international scope that boasts the collaboration of the world’s most prestigious museums, and has been able to boast loans from usually immovable churches and cathedrals. Curated by Juan Antonio Garcìa Castro, Palma Martìnez-Burgos Garcìa and Thomas Clement Salomon, with scientific coordination by Mila Ortiz, the exhibition boasts the patronage of the Embassy of Spain in Italy and will be open to the public from October 2023 to February 2024.
