The insights offered by the Venice Patriarchate Bible School are always interesting. Last January 9 Marinella Perroni gave a lectureat the St. Apollonia Hall with the theme Go to my brothers and tell them (Jn. 20:17): The role of women in Johannine communities. It was a talk that deserves to be listened to again and that helps to grasp in a new light the female figures of the Fourth Gospel among whom stand out, alongside the Mother of Jesus, Martha and Mary of Bethany, the woman of Samaria and Mary of Magdala.
