Padua: The Birth of the Research Center “BET – Polo Bíblico”

BET. Polo Biblico was established in continuity with the Padua association Bibbia Aperta, with the intention of enhancing the experience of the various biblical associations that have pursued systematic knowledge of the Bible in recent decades and enriching it with other fields of research. BET. Polo Biblico intends to enhance the question about the relationships between the biblical text, society and culture, and thus open a promising interlocution with research and training institutions such as universities, schools, religious communities, educational centers, and broader cultural, literary, artistic and scientific circuits. The aim is to foster an attitude capable of assessing the positive and negative effects of the biblical text on the formation of individual and collective consciousness throughout history. The Center will be “launched” on Nov. 30.
