During these days the Lord has graced with the presence of Sr. Giulia Loda of the Daughters of Saint Paul and a missionary in Taiwan for 45 years. Returning to Italy to celebrate her 50th anniversary of profession with the brothers and sisters of the Pauline Family, Sister Juliet (as we usually call her) shared with us some aspects of her mission, entirely dedicated to spreading the Word of God and formation. of the younger sisters. “In Taiwan,” she recounts, “the main service to the Word of God is related to sowing, not harvesting. The percentage of Catholics is very low (0.2%): the Lord asks us to be salt, yeast, light, in the certainty that something new and beautiful always comes out of sowing. Our professed young women are a beautiful demonstration of it.” She adds: “We Daughters of Saint Paul try to live all this by meeting people, ensuring biblical exhibitions, qualifying our bookshop, guaranteeing a quality editorial service and encouraging the collaborators who, on Taiwanese soil, are a dynamic and fruitful.” Thanks to Sr. Juliet’s testimony that a young Chinese priest Fr. Cui Haibo, attracted by the charism of Bl. James Alberione and by the abundant graces entrusted to the Pauline Family, knocked on the door of our Congregation. Our warmest wishes and best wishes to Sister Giulietta. To know more about the presence of the Daughters of Saint Paul in Taiwan visit here.
