For centuries, the Holy Bible has been a source of inspiration for people all over the world. It is the most widely distributed book today. The Bible is a part
“Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures” (Lk 24:27).
Biblical theology proceeds in the wake of the exegesis initiated by Jesus himself on the road to Emmaus. The intention of the program offered by the Roman Department of Biblical Theology of the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University is thus to prolong the conversation between the Master and the two disciples, which is at the same time a dialogue between the two Testaments. The Department offers in particular two educational paths: the license (second cycle) and the doctorate (third cycle). It makes use of the presence of the other departments of the Faculty of Theology, the “Cardinal Bea” Center for Jewish Studies and the Pontifical Biblical Institute. To learn more visit the website.
