Laura C. Paladino holds a Ph.D. in Ancient History from the University of Bologna and is a Professor of the History of Ancient Judaism and Biblical and Judeo-Hellenistic Historiography. One of her main interests concerns the comparative textual analysis of the ancient versions of the Bible on the characters of Hellenistic Judaism and Palestinian Judaism at the time of Christian origins. For Radiopiù Roma, she made “Voices of Biblical Women,” a series that presents one by one the women who populate the biblical stories. The program aims to understand the stories of these women and their feminine dimension and identify what message they can give to the contemporary world. They are ordinary and extraordinary women: with lights and shadows, symbolic and often salvific. Each of them allows us to frame and facet the feminine image, as understood in the biblical texts, and contribute to communicating the inexhaustible richness of the Sacred Word. Understand the Biblical view on the feminine, for a feminine reading of the Bible and revelation, from Eve to Mary.
