The Claretian Biblical Institute of the Americas (IBICLA) Offers Bible Courses

The Claretian Biblical Institute of the Americas (Instituto Bíblico Claretiano de las Américas or IBICLA) is an educational institution founded by the Claretian Missionaries. We asked one of the professors to summarize the characteristics of the institute in two words: “We are the only Spanish-language institute in the United States dedicated to the Holy Scriptures. We have a team of experts in theological and biblical studies who share a passion for the knowledge and teaching of the Word of God. Our mission is to provide tools and resources for all interested parties to deepen their knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. We seek to empower all minority groups that have been marginalized by abusive readings of the Scriptures, assuming an ecumenical vision influenced by the new contributions of biblical methods. Our vision is to be a center of excellence in biblical teaching and research in Spanish, committed to social justice, cultural diversity and the promotion of peace. We want to be a place of encounter and intercultural dialogue, where critical reflection and the search for answers to the challenges of today’s world are encouraged.
