On March 4-11-18, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Disciples of the Divine Master will offer a course in preparation for Easter, helping us to savor the history
The Book of Psalms has been considered ever since as a treasury of public worship. Its maintained vigor holds a pre-eminent position in the Christian liturgy. They were the inspirations of many artists from all times. The Psalms express a profound prayer in a high poetic quality which are rich in symbols and well structured. They embrace centuries of the history of Israel because they converge on political events, national mourning, and the hopes of a people for whom history is sacred. After all, with God’s guidance, He intervenes with his saving actions and his revealing word. The people respond with prayer. The Rabbuni choir composed by the Sisters Pious Disciples of the Divine Master, one of the ten branches that composes the Pauline Family, recorded the prayers of the four weeks of the Liturgy of the Hours. The psalms and songs were set to music by Sr. M. Fiorella Schermidori, Sr. M. Cecilia Stiz, and Sr. M. Christiane Gervaise. To listen, click here.
