Diocese of Rieti Hosts the 17th Communications Week 2022

The Society of Saint Paul and the Daughters of Saint Paul have been animating the Communication Week in Italy is now on its 17th year. This initiative is made possible with the participation and involvement of a specific diocese in Italy every year. This year the Diocese of Rieti will host the said event. Notable guest speakers are Enrico Mentana, Lucia Annunziata, Don Luigi Ciotti (founder of Libera), and the internationally renowned linguist Luca Serianni, among many. Many guests and communication professionals will animate the Reatinos for the 17th edition of the Communication Festival this 21-29 of May. A single red thread to connect the whole: “Listening with the ear of the heart“-the theme proposed by Pope Francis on the occasion of the World Day of Social Communications.

From 2 to 8 May, is scheduled a pre-festival dedicated in a special way to children and teens together with their families, which will culminate with the return of the Spring Marathon of the equal schools of the Diocese of Rieti, after the suspension of the last years due to the pandemic. The presentation of the program of the Festival will also be an opportunity to take stock of the situation of digital communication infrastructure in the territory of Rieti, thanks to the presence of Prof. Paolo Benanti, expert in digital technologies and innovation management.
