In the last forty years, Prof. Emmanuel Anati, an internationally renown archaeologist and anthropologist, has developed his working hypothesis that sees the topographical identification of the biblical Sinai in the mountain of the Negev desert, Har Karkom. Along with painstaking work in the field, Prof. Anati also shaped a sort of historical and chronological re-presentation of the biblical events of the liberation of Egypt, socially and culturally relocated some ten centuries earlier (end of the third millennium a. C.) to the classical hypothesis of the chronology of the Exodus(Century XIII-XII a.C.). A study seminar on the subject will be held on 22 September, both online and in person. It aims to examine the available data and propose a re-reading of the biblical text in the light of the proposal of Prof. Anati. The Seminar is open to all those interested in the subject. It is not essential to have academic qualifications in the field of biblical, historical and archaeological studies, but rather a competition with respect to the position of Prof. Anati and biblical themes related to the Exodus cycle.
