An extraordinary archaeological discovery occurred in the Israeli prison of Megiddo, where an 1,800-year-old mosaic was found. It contains one of the earliest Christian inscriptions that declares, ‘Jesus is God.’ The mosaic, dated to 230 AD, also includes images of fish that allude to the biblical episode in Luke 9:16, where Jesus multiplied two fish to feed 5,000 people. “We’re truly excited to be the first to have ever seen something like this—to experience what was created nearly 2,000 years ago by a man named Brutius, the incredible craftsman who laid this pavement here” a representative stated.
