“The Power of the Limit” at the Biblical Festival

The 22nd edition of the Biblical Festival centers on the profound theme, “The Power of the Limit.” In a world that often views limitations as barriers to be broken and power as the unilateral exercise of force, the festival invites us to shift our perspective. It proposes rediscovering the limit as an essential dimension of the human condition—a fertile space for meaning, connection, and true freedom—while reimagining power as a vehicle for care, stewardship, and responsibility. Staying true to its vibrant, multi-centered itinerary, the festival will unite ten different cities in a collective cultural exploration that seamlessly weaves together religion, philosophy, the humanities, art, and contemporary issues. The festival’s journey will unfold sequentially across its various venues, launching in Genoa from April 9 to 16, moving to Alba from April 27 to 30, and extending through Rovigo and its surrounding province from April 27 to May 10. As May progresses, the event will travel to Catania from May 7 to 10, Verona from May 8 to 10, Padua and its province from May 14 to 17, and Vicenza and its province from May 14 to 24. The final legs of this cultural tour will take place in Treviso from May 20 to 24, before drawing to a close in Chioggia from May 28 to June 1.
