Our invitation to read the Bible is born out of the fruitful collaboration between SOBICAIN (International Catholic Bible Society) and the Aletti Centre. Each week we will offer key elements for reading a book of the Bible by means of a brief introduction and an Icon explained. The wisdom of life (Sir 4) is to safeguard the gift that comes from above. In the struggle against temptation, Christ shows that the ultimate purpose of all discernment is full participation in the filial life. Through the shield of the Word of God, the deceptions of the enemy, which turn one away from true life, are effectively repelled.
