“The Bethany System” and the Fourth Gospel. This is the title of a seminar structured in seven meetings that will begin this coming October 13th. These are study and discussion sessions centered on the main hypotheses proposed by biblical scholar Silvio Barbaglia in the second volume of the work From the Real Jesus to the Textualized Jesus, scheduled for release in the coming months. Each meeting will be introduced by the author with a positio lasting about 30 minutes, followed by an hour of exchange and discussion with participants attending in person and connected online. The goal is not merely to present the volume’s contents, but to subject the study’s most innovative and controversial theses to critical discussion, examining their assumptions, arguments, strengths, and potential objections. Participation in the seminar is free and open to everyone, with options to attend either in person or online.
