“Invitation to Read the Bible” is a project born from the fruitful collaboration between Sobicain (International Catholic Biblical Society) and the Aletti Center; each week, we offer key insights for reading a specific book of the Bible through a brief introduction and an explanation of the icon that opens the book. In the icon, we see the parable of Ezk 37. Ezekiel prophesies over the dried-up bones, an image of the house of Israel stripped of all hope. The fullness of this prophecy is the Risen Lord. He, breathing His Spirit, visits humanity wounded by death. Clothed in His mantle of glory, the dead are reborn into life without end.
