“Invitation to Read the Bible” is a project born from the fruitful collaboration between Sobicain (International Catholic Biblical Society) and the Aletti Center; each week, we offer key insights for reading a specific book of the Bible through a brief introduction and an explanation of the icon that opens the Second letter to the Corinthians: the folly of the cross in Paul (2Cor 11). Conformed to the crucified and risen Christ, Paul lives in love, focused on the kingdom of the Father. Consequently, the power of the proclamation is not found in oratorical skill, but in yielding to the action of the Holy Spirit. This participation grants him a share in the priestly ministry of Christ, the light of the world.
