“Invitation to Read the Bible” is a project born from the fruitful collaboration between Sobicain (International Catholic Biblical Society) and the Aletti Center; each week, we offer key insights for reading a specific book of the Bible through a brief introduction and an explanation of the icon that opens the First letter to the Corinthians (1Cor). Paul announces the Word, who is the person of Jesus Christ. The Apostle’s foot is in the scroll, because he walks in the filial Life. Paul is united with the mind of the Son of God, indicating that the new mentality–the true wisdom of every Christian–comes from accepting the Paschal rhythm of death and resurrection.
