“Invitation to Read the Bible” is a project born from the fruitful collaboration between Sobicain (International Catholic Biblical Society) and the Aletti Center; each week, we offer key insights for reading a specific book of the Bible through a brief introduction and an explanation of the icon that opens the Letter to the Efesians (Eph): Paul unveils the “Great Mystery”. In the wedding at Cana, the man and the woman foreshadow a deeper reality: the union between Christ the Bridegroom and the Church the Bride. Pulling back the veil, Paul becomes the servant who reveals this “great mystery”. Furthermore, in the act of pouring out the blood of the new covenant, he announces the gift of love for every person.
