InBiblia, the Sobicain App dedicated to the Word

Sobicain has launched a new application entirely dedicated to the Word of God: InBiblia. Featuring reels, educational videos, interviews, in-depth analyses, audio commentaries, and introductions to biblical texts, it has one primary goal: to help the Word spread and make it accessible to an ever-wider audience.
Created in Alba—the same city where Sobicain itself was founded just over a century ago—InBiblia is designed as a versatile, constantly updated application. It serves as a space for dialogue for those who, while reading and meditating on the Word of God, wish to ask questions, seek guidance, explore topics further, or share their reflections.
Father Jose Pottayil, Director of Sobicain, explains: “For the entire Sobicain team, the launch of InBiblia represents a commitment to service that is increasingly attuned to contemporary culture—bringing the Word of God ‘to today’s world, using today’s tools,’ as our founder, Blessed Father Giacomo Alberione, often emphasized.”
The application arrives shortly after the publication of The Bible. “Let there be light!” and serves as its natural complement, offering the same kind of content—notes, commentaries, introductions, and supplementary material—found in a traditional Bible. Like The Bible. “Let there be light!” itself, the application benefits from the invaluable collaboration of the Art Atelier at the Centro Aletti in Rome, fostering an approach that unites the Word with imagery.
But let’s hear what Father Domenico Soliman, Superior General of the Society of Saint Paul, has to say about it, as he is interviewed by some of the young people who contributed to the initiative.
